Perhaps it ’s a coincidence that I have not seen this nonsensical error message before and only a day or so back there was an update to Time Machine. Hm. But it’s more than a little worrying when your backup software says something like this:
“This backup is too large for the backup volume. The backup requires 623.7 MB but only 43.5 GB are avilable.”
…note the the units.
I think I am going to go and buy an additional backup disk (been putting it off — yes, stupid) and return to using SuperDuper (as well as Time Machine).
