Is it only me who finds the Ctrl+LeftArrow or Ctrl+RightArrow shortcut (in a Win environment at least) a ridiculously useful short cut for skipping about in text. I am guessing not.
But.
If I am running iTunes and also an editor that doesn’t understand these shortcuts (like the rich editor in WordPress), then iTunes says “thanks” and responds (when it’s not the focus of the OS - like when I didn’t want it to man).
So. Surely it’s reasonable to allow folks who use these iTunes shortcuts to keep them, yes, of course. BUT. It would be a valueable (and I of course mean VERY FREAKIN’ VALUEABLE) option for me to be able to burrow down into the iTunes options to choose what key combinations iTunes should use and which it should ignore. If there IS a way of doing this, I’ve not found it yet. Plus, I can’t be faddled to go dig on the web for some workaround, so, instead I thought I’d whinge here. There. Done it.
Nice blog you Gotcha here
